Man suffers serious facial injuries in attack after getting into his car in Heysham

A man has suffered two broken cheek bones after he was attacked while getting into his car in Heysham.

The victim was assaulted on Knowlys Road close to the Strawberry Gardens pub between 7pm and 8pm on Friday, November 10.

He was getting into a grey Seat Leon car when the suspect opened his car door and attacked him, causing serious facial injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, of muscular build, wearing a black T shirt with a white motif on. 

Police are asking for any witnesses to this incident to contact them, or if you have an information that may assist the investigation to please get in touch.
