A courageous fundraiser from Lancaster has been rewarded with a surprise night on hit TV show Saturday Night Takeaway.
Shaun Gash and his family had front row seats on the first episode of the new series of the popular entertainment programme hosted by Ant and Dec.
Shaun was one of a group of people across the country who'd been invited onto the show after raising a combined £40m for good causes - and were rewarded with a free holiday!
He was joined by his wife Dawn and daughters Niamh and Sharna.
Dawn nominated him to be on the show and it was a complete surprise for Shaun who didn't know he'd be on Saturday Night Takeaway until he arrived at the studio.
The family was pictured on screen during the episode and got to meet star guests Simon Cowell and radio DJ Jordan North, who is pictured below with Shaun and Dawn.
Shaun was paralysed from his chest down following a car accident when he was 20.
Seven years ago, he also lost his leg while climbing Ben Nevis mountain in Scotland.
But Shaun has not allowed his disabilities to stop him from taking on the toughest challenges to raise money for charities.
These have included sky diving and scuba diving, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and travelling in his wheelchair from Land's End to John O'Groats.
He also aims to become the first paralysed amputee to canoe the Zambezi river in Africa in October.
Shaun will take on his 235km Zambezi challenge starting on October 23. The money raised will be split between the Whizz Kidz and Spinal Research charities.
