Jackie from The Travellers Choice launches the Lancaster BID Christmas Toy Appeal

Lancaster BID has launched its 2022 Christmas Toy Appeal with a whirlwind shopping trip at a city centre toy store.

BID manager Tony Johnson joined Jackie Shaw from sponsors The Travellers Choice at The Entertainer at St Nicholas Arcades, as the Carnforth-based coach travel firm donated more than £150 worth of toys to the appeal.

The Travellers Choice are celebrating 150 years in business and decided to celebrate by giving something back to the community by sponsoring the BID's Toy Appeal.

Beyond Radio is also supporting the Lancaster BID Christmas Toy Appeal so listen out for more information on-air!

Lancaster Business Improvement District has also teamed up with four charities to ensure that this Christmas, gifts go to the children who need them the most.

To distribute your gifts to those who need them most, the BID has teamed up with these charities: St Josephs - Little Joe's Clothes, East Meets West - Helping Heart for Ukraine, Bay Hospitals Charity The Children’s Ward at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, and Unique Kidz & Co.
