Lancashire County Council Recruiting Care Workers

Lancashire County Council Recruiting Care Workers

Lancashire County Council has launched a campaign to recruit more care workers to support older people and adults with disabilities, during the coronavirus pandemic this winter.

There are a number of temporary paid roles available including positions supporting older people at care homes, day centres or in their own home. Or adults with disabilities in day services, short break services or supported living schemes.

There are also roles for catering assistants, cleaning staff, driver attendants and passenger assistants.
If you have recently left a role in the care sector or have previous experience in a care setting they would love to hear from you.

However, if you don’t have any experience but you are caring, responsible, and good with people, please get in touch as experience is not essential, training will be provided.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is necessary to carry out the role safely will also be provided.

This is a great opportunity for people who are currently unemployed to get paid work that could lead to a permanent position with the county council or a care provider.
