Sold to the Sky will perform unplugged on Friday night at the Three Mariners as part of Quay-Fest

An exciting weekend of live music is store as 23 acts perform in three Lancaster pubs over three days.

The new Quay-Fest music festival will take place in three pubs in and around St George's Quay - the Wagon and Horses, the Three Mariners and the George and Dragon.

The event runs from Friday until Sunday.

It will include a first for Lancaster - as samba drumming band Samba Espirito perform on the Millennium Bridge on the Sunday.

"Each pub is putting on some great entertainment, free entry, and a safe family friendly atmosphere," said Bill Johnston from the Wagon and Horses.

"There is such good talent in the district and that's what we're celebrating."
