INTERVIEWS: Beyond Radio at Lancaster City Council Community Info Day

The Lancaster District CVS Hook-a-Duck game was popular at the Lancaster City Council Community Info Day

The Beyond Radio team was delighted to be part of the Lancaster City Council Community Info Day in Morecambe and we had a chat with some of the people who were there.

The event was held on the green near Benson Avenue on the Branksome Estate in Morecambe on Thursday (August 4).

It was an opportunity for local council tenants to share their views and get access to information and advice.

There were also many stalls from local community organisations and plenty of family fun activities too.

Organisations on hand included Bay Volunteers, Ideal Choice Homes, Lancaster Methodist Church, Lancaster District CVS (Community & Voluntary Solutions), Lancaster District Food Justice Partnership, Food Futures, Lancashire Fire and Rescue and their Princes Trust team, Stanley's Youth and Community Centre providing face painting, and Lancaster City Council.

Beyond Radio's Duncan Moore and Greg Lambert played music and made announcements, with support from Luke Stutchbury and photographer Andy Slack.

We also chatted to some of the organisations who were there on Thursday.
