Young people to join Climate Strike in Lancaster

February 13, 2020

Young people will take to the streets of Lancaster tomorrow to demand action on climate change.

A Climate Strike will take place outside Lancaster City Museum at 11am on Friday, February 14.

This is the latest in a series of peaceful protests organised by Lancaster Youth for Environment (LYFE).

LYFE is a social movement in Lancaster which unites and empowers young people to engage in environmental and political issues locally. Their previous Climate Strike was held in Market Square on January 24.

People joining the protest are asked to bring a reusable cup. Hot drinks and cake will be provided.

The strike is part of a nationwide series of demonstrations tomorrow demanding more government action on climate change.
