Friends have joined forces to open a colourful new restaurant in Lancaster city centre serving street style food.
Gemma Proctor, Gary Ellwood and Amber Bailey are the team behind Seven Sins on Mary Street in the city, which opens this Tuesday (October 22).
The trio have many years of experience in the hospitality industry and say they have "a passion to bring some vibrancy, colour and bold flavours to Lancaster's bustling restaurant scene".
Gemma will be overseeing the bar and front of house, Gary is former head chef at Oscars wine bar in Morecambe and chef at The Royal in Lancaster, and Amber was chef at the Three Mariners in Lancaster where Gemma and Gary have also worked.
The restaurant has quirky out-there decor, and a street food-style menu including bao buns, ramen, burgers, authentic birria tacos, and fried chicken, as well as desserts, cocktails and more.
Seven Sins will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4pm to 10pm (food served until 9pm) and Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 10pm (food served until 9pm) and closed Sundays and Mondays.
The restaurant will open on the site of the former tapas restaurant El Tapeo.
