Soapbox race organisers have teased that they might be bringing the popular event back to Lancaster.
A post on the Krazy Races Facebook page today, alongside a photo of their last event at Williamson Park, said that a "big announcement" was coming on November 14.
Krazy Races made a smash hit debut at the park in September 2023 as crowds gathered to enjoy the thrills and spills of competitors racing down a track in home-made karts.
The event saw teams race three times down a track from the Butterfly House to the bottom of the Ashton Memorial. Then the Top 10 fastest raced one final time to decide the winner.
There was disappointment amongst Krazy Races fans when it was announced that they would not return in 2024.
But the post on Tuesday (below) will ignite hopes that they are about to confirm a return to the city in 2025.
We have contacted Krazy Races for comment.
Beyond Radio hosted a special live outdoor broadcast from the 2023 event.
