A Hollywood composer who worked on the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise has paid a visit to a music shop in Morecambe.
Paul E Francis popped into Promenade Music on Marine Road East on Wednesday.
The Los Angeles-based Brit has worked on numerous productions for film and TV with some of Hollywood's biggest studios including Warner Brothers, Nickelodeon, Netflix and Hasbro.
Alongside Sony Music and Milan Records, he released the soundtrack for the hit Netflix series 'Blood of Zeus’ and his work earned him a nomination for Best Music in the 48th Annie Awards.
More recently, Paul worked as orchestrator on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.
He started working as a composer in 2006 when he co-composed the music for the British TV drama, ‘Hogfather', a hit for Sky TV. He also composed the music for the sequel ’The Color of Magic’ and later worked on a series of horror films.
A post on the Promenade Music Facebook page said: "It was great to have the LA-based film and TV composer and orchestrator Paul E. Francis in the shop today.
"It’s so wonderful to see Paul again. Paul’s father - the late Greg Francis - was an internationally known professional musician and arranger and his family have been longtime customers of Promenade Music."
Promenade Music is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year and Mr Francis isn't the first famous face to shop there.
Guns 'n' Roses rock star Slash and TV presenter Matt Allwright have been among its customers in recent years.
