An outdoor carnival and a theatre variety show will once again be part of Lancaster's Chinese New Year celebrations.
This year's festival has two main events - the biggest Chinese cultural variety show in the north of England at Lancaster Grand Theatre on Sunday January 19, and the carnival celebration in Market Square on Sunday January 26.
The variety show includes traditional Chinese dances, authentic Asian instrumental group music performances and singing.
You can get more information and book tickets HERE.
The carnival is free and workshops and stalls begin at 10am.
A Lions and Dragon parade will start at noon straight after the opening ceremony in Market Square.
There will be kung fu, music performances, magic, dances and drum performances
The Festival is funded and supported by Lancashire County Council, Lancaster University, Lancaster University Confucius Institute, Arts Council England, The National Lottery Community Fund, Lancaster BID, Lancaster CVS and Lancaster City Council.
