A telecoms engineer who is used to climbing poles can't wait to start pulling pints as the new manager of a Morecambe pub.
Tammy Hutchinson is the new boss at the newly-relaunched Rhythm and Brew House on the White Lund Industrial Estate.
The pub will reopen on November 1 after a period of closure, and mum-of-three Tammy said the role is "something I've wanted to do for ages".
The former Bowerham Primary, Sandylands Primary and Heysham High school pupil started working for British Telecom in the Lancaster call centre in 1998, before switching to the engineering side with Open Reach in 2006.
"I've done everything from working in the actual (telephone) exchanges themselves, running the wires, to climbing (telegraph) poles," said Tammy.
"Now I'm a patch lead on the fibre-to-the-premises side, and look after 16 engineers on my team from Carlisle to Barrow to Lancaster.
"Thursdays to Sundays I'll be running the Brew House as well!
"I've always wanted to run a pub so this is practically my hobby. I can't wait to get started with it."

Tammy, who lives close to the pub on Newgate, was previously a regular customer at the Brew House.
"Instead of being sat at the other side of the bar I'll be serving everybody," she said.
"I'd have a couple of pints and say, I'd love to work here and help run it. And now I am!"
Tammy's parents Eddie and Janet Ward were well known publicans in the area, running the Casino (later the Ranch House) at Frontierland theme park in Morecambe, and the Park Hotel in Lancaster.
Launch night at the Rhythm and Brew House is on Friday November 1 and all are welcome.
Tammy said that future plans for the pub include live music, karaoke, live football on TV, 'Sup up Sundays', quiz nights, and food from the Burger Shack, also serving Greek street food and pizzas.
The adjoining brewery will also reopen, with a new brewer from Rome in Italy, and public tours.
