A bra shop in Morecambe has had to close down after virtually all of its stock was stolen in a burglary.
Staff at Morecambe Bra Bar at 300 Marine Road Central made the announcement of the closure on Wednesday following the break-in earlier this week.
Owner Dawn Fleming-Burt discovered on Tuesday that the shop had been broken into overnight, and a large amount of bras and briefs, prosthesis bras and nightwear had been stolen - with only a small number of bras left behind.
She told Beyond Radio: "I can't carry on trading there. I've nothing to sell. They've taken everything.
"They took all the stock on the rails, around £2000 wholesale, and all the deliveries we received last Thursday, around £3000 worth at an estimate. They were still in the boxes.
"We think it was pre-planned.
"But I'm like a phoenix, I will rise from the ashes."
A statement on the Morecambe Bra Bar Facebook page said:
"Thank you for all the messages and visits to the shop to show your support," said a post on the Morecambe Bra Bar Facebook page.
"We will miss you all and thank you for your ongoing support over the almost two years we have been trading.
"This is not the end. But I will need to recoup funds to restock another bra bar, hopefully in Morecambe."
Dawn said the stolen items were coded to Morecambe Bra Bar.
