A teenage presenter who hosts a successful YouTube channel has joined Beyond Radio.
Matilda Walden, 16, has become part of the radio station's volunteer team, and will be working on a new podcast of her interviews around the Lancaster and Morecambe area.
Matilda's YouTube channel has gained a following for her news reporting and her chats with big names including poet Pam Ayres, Hairy Biker Si King and Lancaster rock band Massive Wagons.
She also co-presents the Good Buy YouTube show alongside BBC antiques expert, and star of Antiques Roadshow and Bargain Hunt, David Harper.
Multi-talented Matilda also writes and records her own songs alongside her mum Jayne, and recently released a CD called 'Always the Outcast'.
She plays guitar, piano, ukulele and drums, loves dancing, has performed with Morecambe Fringe and at Morecambe Poetry Festival, and has won awards for her photography and volunteering.
She also broke the world record for assembling Mr Potato Head in the fastest time!
Matilda recently appeared on Greg Lambert's The Resident show on Beyond Radio to talk about her various projects.
