Beyond Radio is a voluntary, not for profit, community organisation which has been delivering truly local radio across the Lancaster and Morecambe Bay area since 2016.

We aren't a large media company with financial backers, just a group of enthusiastic volunteers with a passion to provide a meaningful, enjoyable and informative radio service to our community. Our income mainly comes from advertising sales and our events work, any profits made go straight back into the running of the station, there are no shareholders taking payments or bonuses. We are hugely grateful to our advertising and community partners for the support they regularly give us.

Running a radio station such as Beyond isn't cheap. There are broadcast licence fees, music copyright fees, equipment maintenance costs and a host of other things that need paying for, and no doubt like you, the increases in energy costs have been quite challenging for us. But we as a group of ordinary local people are committed to keeping Beyond Radio operating in the area for as long as possible.

We have been fortunate in the past in receiving small donations and funding amounts to aid our community work, particulary around supporting our volunteers with disabilities and we have had people ask if they can donate to Beyond Radio to help us continue to provide the service we do. We are hugely grateful for any financial support we receive as a not for profit organisation, which all goes to providing our radio and website local news and information service locally.

Should you feel you could help, there are a number if ways you can support us financially if you wish.

You could join our Station Supporters Scheme where for £10 a month or annual discounted fee of £99 you could help provide a regular income for us which will allow us to plan and continue our community focused work.

If you are a regular giver to good causes but want to support a number of charities and community groups through your giving, then you could choose to make a one off donation of any size to Beyond Radio, for which we'd be very grateful.

If you feel you're not in a position to make a single or regular donation you could support us by registering as a Beyond Radio supporter with Easyfundraising.
